SoleyProof
About these records

A SoleyProof record is a trade’s self-certification of their own work — the same principle as the compliance certificates licensed trades already issue, with the evidence attached instead of implied.

Before a trade can sign one, the platform verifies their licence against the state’s live register — at the moment of signing, not once at signup — checks their ABN, and requires a second factor at the pen. The record itself holds the photos taken on site, the trade’s answers about what they did, and an AI-assisted check of that evidence against the specific National Construction Code provisions for that kind of work, clause by clause.

The platform records, checks, verifies, stores and shares. It does not certify anything itself — the signature on a record is the trade’s, made under their own licence, and the record says so on its face. A SoleyProof record is not a statutory certificate (such as an electrical CCEW or a plumbing compliance certificate) and never replaces one where the law requires it.

Every record has a public verification page that anyone holding its reference code can check, free, forever — including whether it has been superseded by a corrected version. The fingerprint printed on the document lets the paper copy be compared with the stored record at any time.

Trades: SoleyProof is built for the person doing the work — describe the job, photograph it, answer the declarations, and keep every record under your own name with the evidence attached.
